She has a BFA from the Pennsylvania State University where she earned the Zoller Scholarship for her paintings. L Robert Kimball

The phrase "Renaissance Man" is often abused, but, in the case of L. Robert Kimball, it is the easiest way to describe this man of vision, achievement, service and talent. An inspired business leader, he established L. Robert Kimball & Associates, Architects & Engineers, in 1953. Today, the company has more than 600 professional employees in ten offices and had been named "One of the 100 Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania" for five years. (The company works on a wide range of engineering projects, from transportation to water supply and distribution, to building and park design to forestry and watershed management to telecommunications and technology consulting.)

A graduate of Penn State and a registered engineer (in seven states), Mr. Kimball is a highly decorated war hero. An Air Force Captain in World War II, he received the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with Three Oak Clusters and France's highest military award, the Croix de Guerre. (Mr. Kimball demonstrated both his versatility and devotion to his country by serving as Major in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers during the Korean Conflict.)

A list of Mr. Kimball's philanthropic, civic, professional and social awards and memberships would take more than a page to list. He has been recognized as an Outstanding Alumnus of Penn State and by various professional and civic organizations (including the Boy and Girl Scouts, Chamber of Commerce and Small Business Administration) for his community service. He received the Legion of Honor Award from the Chapel of Four Chaplains.

And, as you see today, Mr. Kimball also is an inspired painter.
